Jinbo-cho Outing

I walked around Jinbo-cho.
This area is famous for "books", especially second-hand books.
You can find from new book which you can find on Amazon.com to very old books never seen online. We often see valuable books.
Here I just shot few photos , enjoy them.

We can almost read them.

Seems 80's book store...

Not only literature, but also music books.

Japanese classic books from 300yen.

Books are mounted up to the ceiling.

They are just reached to this town. Many friends are there. Don't worry.

Hongo Outing

This area is near Akihabara, Ochanomizu.
It's belong to Bunkyo-ward. This bunkyo-ward has lots of place which is associated with learning. For example, Tokyo university - Japan's top university located in this word. And historically famous novelists once lived this area.
We have lots of opportunities to meet those historically interesting spots.

Shaved bonito- before shaved. This will make Japanese cuisine very tasty.

Matsuchiyama temple (Matsuchiyama-shoten)

Today I want to introduce one of my most favorite temples in Tokyo.
It's located at the backside of Asakusa, and near Senso-ji temple.
Compared to very famous Senso-ji Temple, atmosphere of this temple is very peaceful and quiet.
This temple is famous for Japanese radish which pray for one's health.
This temple is also able to enter inside temple grounds for a chance.
I sometimes go there and just sit for meditation for a while.
It is very important time for me.

Peace and quiet.

Can appreciate it's history here.

Dragon is watching your washing hand for ritual washing.

Japanese radish. Representative for this temple.

People pray for their childrens's growth to these Ksitigarbha.

Sanya Outing

I outed around the area named "Sanya", which is near by Asakusa, Tokyo.
This place was focused during The World Cut on 2002 as providing accommodation for foreigners. Sanya is called "Town for Daily worker", and many daily labors are still living now, so there are a bunch of cheap hostels. However compared before, the number of labors are decreased much, then owners of those hostels decided to open for foreigners.
Now we can feel a distinctive atmosphere from this town.
This place is very much deep, I will continuously keep introduce here.

Sanya-bori: It was water route on the old days. This route is connected Asakusa with Yoshiwara, old Japan's largest licensed red-light district. It is said lots of women carried by small boat through this route.

Izakaya- Japanese style restaurant. We can enjoy real Japanese cuisine here.

I feel serenity from this temple - Imado shrine.

Old guys started drinking in the morning time.

How could it be so rusty...?

I like this sky tree scape with an old cityscape.
